LGL 2140 INTERVIEWING AND INVESTIGATION FOR THE LEGAL PROFESSIONAL (formerly LGL 214) This course provides a study of the principles, methods and investigative techniques that a legal professional utilizes to locate, gather, document and summarize information obtained from outside sources relevant to a case. Interviewing and investigating skills will be covered as well as the specialied skills reuired to obtain and summarize medical records, and to understand and apply the process of redaction. The principles learned will be appled to practical exercises. Pre/Corequisites for Legal Studies Mnors: LGL.1030 and LGL 3020. Prerequisites for non-Legal Studies Minors: LGL.1030 and LGL.3020.
